General Womens Broadcast

Kathryn, Kimberly, Destenee, Isabel and Oma went together to view the General Women's Broadcast.  It was a wonderful evening.  Grandma Martin was invited to come but wasn't feeling well that night.

Another Date night

Opa and I went to Chili's to eat.  We were both tired that night and it was such fun to just pick up and go out to dinner. We saw Marilyn Reitman and her husband there and chatted with them.  They are the parents of Diedre's friend Heidi.  They asked about Diedre.  We reminisced about our girls  meeting in kindergarten.  Now, Diedre has Krew in kindergarten.  The food was really good and we were very refreshed after coming home.  Thank you!

Valentines Day

We traveled to Cascade and stayed at the Ashley Inn for a romantic weekend.
The trip to Cascade was like a picture postcard.  The pine trees were tipped with snow.  The river flowed with the rocks topped with several inches of snow.  The big flakes of snow were twirling toward the window.
 The Valentine special included a candle light dinner for two featuring prime rib, baked potato, green beans and green salad with homemade rolls and sparkling cider.  There was dancing after the dessert of ice-cream or chocolates.   We enjoyed the dancing and the next morning worked out in the weight room and swam in the pool
and soaked in the hot tub and later enjoyed their breakfast buffet.

Troy's 25th birthday

Happy birthday to Troy.  We celebrated with dinner and cake.  We fixed a Cafe Rio sweet pork salad with all the extras provided by Kimberly and Gretchen and Oma.  I made a cake with icecream in the middle.  We had a nice time telling all the good things about Troy!
